Outlook CRM prompts for username and password for multiple times
Many times MS CRM in outlook prompts for username and password. if you just cancel it. CRm works sometime and other times it just give error. This problem occurs when Microsoft CRM and IE 7 are installed on the same computer.
To work around this problem, disable the FEATURE_SUBDOWNLOAD_LOCKDOWN registry subkey. To do this, follow these steps on the computer that is running the Microsoft Dynamics CRM desktop client for Outlook:

1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK. 2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_SUBDOWNLOAD_LOCKDOWN 3. Right-click Outlook.exe, and then click Modify. 4. In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK. |
